hawaiian chicken
This tastes like a dish you would get from a Chinese restaurant, sweet and sour chicken! I served this with a side of white rice. This recipe came from a food friend named Sday5 and its perfect! I added my photo!

Ingredients
- 4 large chicken cutlets-cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup corn oil
- 1/2 cup green peppers-chopped
- 1/2 cup red peppers-chopped
- 4 - stalks celery-chopped
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks-canned
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons cornstrach
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make hawaiian chicken

Step 1Beat together eggs and flour. Then dip chicken into this batter.

Step 2Heat oil in skillet and fry chicken slowly. After all chicken pieces have been cooked, drain chicken onto paper towels and remove excess oil from pan.

Step 3Add the peppers, celery and pineapple chunks to the pan. Then put the fried chicken pieces on top. Do not stir. Pour the pineapple juice and the 1/4 cup of broth, over this. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4In a seperate small sauce pan, combine Sweet and Sour sauce ingredients. Cook until thick. Pour over the meat and vegetables just before serving.

Step 5Serve with a side dish of white rice.
