Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloins cut into pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 3 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup chives thinly sliced
  • - jasmine rice and sriracha sauce for serving

How To Make hawaiian chicken

  • Step 1
    Place the first 7 ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low 6 hours. Remove chicken with slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Place the sauce in pan on stove and bring it to a boil. Whisk in the cornstarch mixture until thickened. Stir in the chives.
  • Step 3
    To serve place the rice on a plate. Top with chicken. Spoon sauce over top garnish with sriracha sauce to taste
