hamburger and rice

I got this recipe from my Mom, who got this from a Campbells Soup recipe booklet in the 50's when she was a newlywed. I love it because it can be made ahead. All you have to do is leave the chinese noodles off until you are ready to put it in the oven.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce, dark
- 1 cup rice, cooked and hot
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 can chinese noodles (chow mein noodles)
How To Make hamburger and rice

Step 1Brown hamburger, drain any fat

Step 2Cook rice, and mix with hamburger in a 2 qt casserole

Step 3Stir in all remaining ingredients except, Chinese noodles.

Step 4Sprinkle Chinese noodles on top of the meat and rice mixture, you will probably only need 1/2 of the can.

Step 5Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
