I found this recipe somewhere a few years ago. It's a great way to take a classic lemon chicken and bring it outdoors onto the grill.

When possible, I try to use homemade steak sauce... but A-1 works just as well.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c
    white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3 tsp
    steak sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    chicken
  • 2 tsp
    lemon zest

How to Make Grilled Lemon Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small sauce pan, bring the vinegar, oil, lemon juice, and steak sauce to a boil over medium heat. Stir in lemon zest and salt and remove from heat.
  2. Place chicken on hot grill and cover for 10 minutes. Remove the cover and brush on the lemon sauce. Continue grilling chicken, brushing and turning as needed, until it is cooked thoroughly
