green chili casserole

My sister in law gave this recipe to me many years ago. I have cut it down in size since there are just the two of us now. I have cooked this many times over the years. My husband and I and our 5 children all love the creamy, cheesy goodness.

Ingredients
- - 1 rotisserie chicken 1 1/2 breast cut up in small pieces
- - 3 corn tortillas broken up in little pieces about 1 inch
- 1 can 15.25 ounce kidney beans
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans small cans diced ortega green chilis
- 1 small can sliced black olives optional
- 1 small onion diced and sauted
- 1/4 pound cheddar cheese, shredded use more cheese if you like more
- 1/4 pound jack cheese, shredded use more cheese if you like more

Step 1Directions: Oil an 8" square baking dish

Step 2oil an 8" square baking dish. Spread the chicken pieces on the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the broken up tortillas over the chicken. In a bowl mix the kidney beans, cream of chicken soup, green chilis, sliced black olives and sauted onion. Pour over the chicken and tortillas in the baking dish. Do not stir. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the ingredients then spread the jack cheese over the cheddar cheese.

Step 3Put in a pre heated 300* oven. Bake 35 minutes until cheeses are melted and lightly browned.
