Grandma's Smothered Chicken

This dish has all of "the good stuff" - bacon, cheese, mushrooms... mmmm!
Ingredients

4boneless, skinless, chicken breasts halves

·garlic powder to taste

·seasoned salt to taste
-
1 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1 jar(s)(4.5 oz) buttery sliced mushrooms, drained

1/2 cjack cheese, grated
-
1/2 ccheddar cheese, grated
-
1/2 cgreen onions, chopped
-
1/2 ccrumbled bacon
-
1 can(s)chicken broth
How to Make Grandma's Smothered Chicken
- Flatten chicken to 1/4 inch thickness. Sprinkle with garlic powder and seasoned salt.
- In a large, non-stick skillet brown chicken in oil for about 4 minutes on each side. Top with the mushrooms, cheese, green onions and bacon. Pour over about a half can of chicken broth.
- Cover and continue cooking until chicken juices run clear and cheese is melted, about 5 minutes. If chicken seems dry or you like more liquid, add part or all of remaining broth, until heated. Enjoy!
