Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen normandy or california-style veggies
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme or rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can flaky biscuits ( any flavor )

How To Make grandma's chicken potpie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cook and cut vegetables to bite-size pieces.
  • Step 3
    In a greased 3-qt baking dish, combine all ingredients except biscuits. Bake,uncovered, 15 mins., then remove from oven and stir.Quickly cut biscuits in half. Place biscuits halves,cut side down, over hot chicken and vegetable mixture. Bake 15-20 mins.more, or until biscuits are golden brown and done in the center.
