Ingredients

1 pkgground chicken breast meat(about 16 oz.)

2 largecrusty rolls ( i used whole wheat ciabatta rolls)
-
8 ozgorgonzola cheese
-
2 smallportobello mushrooms sliced
-
1/4 tspsalt and pepper
-
1 pinchadobo
-
1 pinchpoultry seasoning
-
1 1/4 pinchrosemary, dried and crushed( i use a mortar and pestle for this)
-
3 Tbspbutter, cold
How to Make Gorgonzola Chicken Burger & Portabello Mushrooms
- Place the ground chicken in a mixing bowl,season with the spices,rosemary and 1 tbsp. of butter,dice the butter in very small pieces and combine.Make two patties according to your roll size,make them a little bigger in circumference as this meat will shrink when cooking.
- Heat a non-stick skillet with the remaining butter,add the mushrooms and saute for 1-2 minutes.remove the mushrooms and start the burgers,6-8 minutes per side or until fully cooked.Top with cheese,add a couple of tablespoons of water to the pan to enhance the melting of the cheese and cover for about fifteen seconds.
