Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3/4 cup ham, diced
- 1 - smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 pound chicken, cubed
- 1/1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 can 8-oz tomato sauce
- 1 can 15-oz chicken broth
- 2 cups rice (not instant)
- 1 can 15-oz diced tomatoes (or 4 fresh tomatoes, chopped)
- 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
How To Make glenda's oven jambalaya

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large, oven-proof dutch oven heat oil; add ham, chicken and sausage. Cook until lightly browned. Stir in onion, celery and green bell pepper and saute until tender crisp. Stir in seasonings. Add tomato sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice and tomatoes. Cook in oven until rice is tender - approximately 20-25 minutes.
