genny's chicken or shrimp fettuccine
I've devised this recipe, so that you can make the fettuccine with either shrimp or chicken. My family loves it made both ways. It's also a great dish to make for company.

Serves 6-8
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 pound chicken or shrimp, cooked and cut up
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 package mccormick pasta prima alfredo sauce
- 12 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can (15 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons dried basil leaves or 1-1/2 tsp. fresh
- 1 pound hot cooked fettuccine
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make genny's chicken or shrimp fettuccine

Step 1Heat butter and oil in skillet over medium heat; add shrimp or chicken, green onions, and garlic. Saute till shrimp or chicken is lightly browned.

Step 2Stir in cream, sauce mix, mushrooms, tomatoes salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, or until sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in basil and remove from heat.

Step 3Toss pasta with sauce and sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Yummm!
