general tso's chicken
I just got this recipe from "The Chew" on TV this morning, so I haven't tried it yet. However, it looked amazing!

Ingredients
- BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN THIGHS
- MARINADE
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vodka (for crispness)
- 2 - egg whites
- BATTER
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- SAUCE
- 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons chili paste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
How To Make general tso's chicken

Step 1Cut chicken into bite size pieces

Step 2Whisk together all marinade ingredients & mix in chicken. Let soak for an hour.

Step 3Dredge marinated chicken in flour mixture. Heat some oil in skillet to 360 degrees & fry chicken til crisp & brown.

Step 4Make sauce-coat bottom of skillet with oil & saute garlic & ginger. Whisk remaining sauce ingredients together & pour into skillet. Simmer, stirring, until thickened. Add chicken & toss to coat. Serve over rice & top with scallions.
