Ingredients
- 2 medium rotisserie chicken, skinned and shredded or 5 cups cooked chicken shredded
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chinese black vinegar or rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- shredded red cabbage, green onions, bean sprouts, shredded carrots, chopped cilantro, and toasted sesame seeds
- favorite taco shells or boats
How To Make general tao's asian taco's

Step 1Shred the chicken and set aside. Mix the chicken stock, soy sauce, vinegar, hoisin sauce, garlic chili sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch and set aside. Place the Sesame oil in a large wok or skillet. Add the ginger and garlic and saute for 2 minutes.

Step 2Add the wine and bring to a boil and let most evaporate. Whisk in the chicken stock mixture into the pan until thickened. Add the chicken and stir cooking until warmed through

Step 3Place in or on taco shells and top with cabbage, green onions, carrots, cilantro and sesame seeds.
