chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless- pounded 1/4 inch thick
1/4 c
all purpose flour
6 clove
garlic, minced
1 c
mushrooms, sliced
5 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
4 Tbsp
butter
1/2 c
marsala wine
1/2 c
cooking sherry

How to Make Garlicky Chicken Marsala

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the flour, salt, pepper and oregano.
  • 2Coat chicken pieces in flour mixture.
  • 3In a large skillet, melt butter in oil over medium heat. Place chicken in the pan, and lightly brown.
  • 4Turn over chicken pieces, and add mushrooms and garlic. Pour in wine and sherry.
  • 5Cover skillet; simmer chicken 10 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
