Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken

I created this recipe like a lot of my recipes by a need for a quick dinner that tastes good using ingredients that I have on hand. I look at recipes that are similar to what I have a taste for and make up my own version. I only share my recipes so others can see how easy it is to make delicious foods, not to boast that I created a recipe because in all honesty I have at best modified someones recipe.

boneless skinless chicken breast
1 c
panko bread crumbs
1/2 c
grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c
milk, 2%
cooking spray


1preheat oven to 450
2pound chicken until it is relatively uniform in thickness
3mix dry ingredients together in a flat bowl, adjust measurements for taste
4pour milk into a flat bowl
5coat square baking pan with cooking spray
6dip chicken first in milk then in dry mixture, make sure to cover entire surface on both sides
7place chicken in pan. Top with any remaining dry ingredients.
8bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until juices run clear and topping turns golden brown
9I served with cheesy potatoes
