Ingredients
- 4 bone in chicken thighs
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded parmigiano - reggiano
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- fresh thyme leaves
How To Make garlic chicken thighs with parmesan gravy

Step 1Preheat oven 400 degrees

Step 2Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a cast iron pan over med high heat. Place the chicken skin side down and sear until golden brown. Turn the chicken over. Scatter the garlic around the chicken and place in oven and roast for 30 minutes.

Step 3While the chicken is roasting make the gravy. Add butter to a saute pan. Stir in the flour and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Slowly pour in the chicken stock while whisking. Simmer 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted and gravy is thickened.

Step 4Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest 15 minutes.

Step 5Spoon some gravy on a dish and place the chicken thigh on top. Garnish with thyme leaves.
