So good. Buttery and garlic, two of my very favorite ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 - boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into strips
  • - salt
  • 10 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 ounces cremini button mushrooms stems removed
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • - juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped

How To Make garlic butter chicken with button mushrooms

  • Step 1
    Place the butter in a large skillet. Let it melt. Lay the chicken in the pan and sprinkle with salt. Let chicken brown on both sides. Remove from pan with slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Turn the heat down to med low and add the mushrooms. Stir in the garlic and keep stirring to make sure the garlic doesn't burn. Cook until the mushrooms are brown about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add the chicken stock and lemon juice. Add the chicken and any juices back to the pan. Turn heat up and bring to a boil. Let reduce about 5 minutes. Stir in the cilantro.
