Found this some place on the internet, making it tonight for dinner. This turned out so good! In a pinch if you do not have the Sprite or 7-Up that the recipe calls for, you can substitute chicken broth.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/4 c
    sprite or 7-up
  • 2/3 c
    vinegar
  • 1 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 large
    chicken , cut into serving peices

How to Make Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Place chicken in crock pot
  2. Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over chicken
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours
  4. Serve over rice or noodles. You can thicken the juices after cooking by adding a little bit of cornstarch.
