Ingredients
- 1 cup - all purpose flour, sifted
- 1 tsp - baking powder
- 1 tsp - salt
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup - beer, your choice of oil for frying
- 1 lb. - raw shrimp, shelled and deveined, frozen shrimp is fine,
- 1 tbs - each cornstarch & sugar
- 4 tbs - vinegar
- 1/2 cup - pineapple juice
- 1 cup - pineapple chunks, drained
How To Make fried shrimp with pineapple

Step 1Sift flour, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt into bowl. Beat in egg and beer. Heat oil in deep fryer or deep skillet to medium high.

Step 2Dip shrimp in batter, coating well on all sides. Fry in hot oil until nicely browned. Drain. Keep warm.

Step 3Mix cornstarch with sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and vinegar. Add pineapple juice, cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Step 4Arrange shrimp on serving platter. Place pineapple chunks around shrimp, pour sauce over all.
