Ingredients
- 1 - chicken
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt (i use lawry's)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable oil (or your choice)
How To Make fried chicken

Step 1Cut up your chicken if necessary. (You may also use your favorite parts of the chicken already cut up.) Wash chicken and put in a medium sized bowl. Add the buttermilk and cover. Place in the refrigerator from 1-2 hours to marinate.

Step 2After marinating the chicken for 1-2 hours. Take out. In a separate bowl mix flour and all the seasonings. Dip pieces in covering thoroughly with the flour and seasoning mixture. Shake off excess. In a large skillet heat oil.

Step 3Place pieces of chicken in oil and fry on both sides for about 15 mins. per side. Remove from skillet and drain off excess oil. Cool and serve.
