2 c
cooked chicken (shredded)
1 1/2 c
cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 1/2 c
lettuce or napa cabbage (torn)
1 bunch
green onion (sliced)
1 1/2
tomato's (cubed)
1 can(s)
black olives (sliced)
3 Tbsp
canola oil
corn tortillas
sour cream (optional)
guacamole (optional)

How to Make Fresh Mex Chicken Taco's


  • 1shred chicken
  • 2shred cheese
  • 3tear lettuce into small bite size pieces
  • 4cut tomato's into cubes
  • 5open can of olices
  • 6slice green onions
  • 7place a tablespoon of canola oil into a frying pan and heat on medium to medium high heat
  • 8when oil is hot place 1 tortilla into hot oil. Heat on one side, and flip over with spatula
  • 9place a small row of cooked chicken in the middle of the tortilla and a small amout of shredded cheese
  • 10with spatula fold tortilla in half
  • 11cook each filled tortilla 1 minute on each side
  • 12continue this process until all the tortilla's have been cooked
  • 13place cooked filled totilla's on a plate lined with paper towels. Stuff each taco shell with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and green onions. add a dab of sour cream and/or gucamole, enjoy!
