fresh herbs, tomatoes, and chicken pasta
This is a quick, easy and super delicious meal to make. I love using my fresh cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs from my garden in this dish. It gives the BEST flavor! You can use any type of pasta or left over chicken, turkey, or pork.....or go meatless. It's all good. Serve with a salad and garlic bread sticks or bread.

Ingredients
- - 1 cup of roasted chicken or turkey, chopped
- - 8 ounces of linguine,fettuccine, or spaghetti, cooked
- - ¼ cup fresh parmesan cheese, shredded
- - 2-3 tablespoon olive oil
- - 2-3 cups cherry tomatoes cut in half
- - 2 garlic cloves, minced
- - ½ teaspoon sugar
- - ½ teaspoon salt
- - ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- - 2-3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- - 2-3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Step 1Cook the pasta according to package directions.

Step 2While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a skillet.Add the chopped garlic, cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer mixture for about about 10-15 minutes.

Step 3Add to the skillet, the cooked chicken, fresh basil and parsley and cook for about 5 minutes or until chicken is heated through.

Step 4Serve mixture over plates of pasta and garnish with freshly shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired.
