Ingredients

  • POTATOES
  • 1 pound yellow potatoes scrubbed and sliced into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • CHICKEN
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 8 ounces French onion dip
  • TOPPING
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup each plain bread crumbs and parmigiano reggiano cheese grated

How To Make french onion chicken with roasted potatoes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place parchment paper over a large sheet pan. Place the potatoes in a bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil.
  • Step 2
    Mix the seasoning together in a small bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning over the potatoes saving enough for the chicken.
  • Step 3
    Place the potatoes in a single layer and then roast in oven for 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Season the chicken with the remaining seasoning. Mix the topping in a bowl.
  • Step 5
    Take the potatoes out of the oven and push them to the side. Spoon equal amounts of the French onion dip onto one side of the chicken thighs. Sprinkle the topping on top of the French onion dip.
  • Step 6
    Place back in the oven and roast another 25 minutes.
