I found this recipe in our Wednesday paper and decided to prepare it. A company worthy dish. Very good!

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 - boneless chicken breasts, pounded into an even thickness
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 - shallots, diced
- 4 - garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups white wine (recipe calls for sauvignon blanc so i used it)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make french inspired chicken

Step 1Over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons butter into a heavy saute pan. Dredge chicken pieces in flour and place in hot pan. Evenly brown chicken for about 8 minutes on each side, or until cooked through; remove from pan. Set chicken aside and cover to keep warm.

Step 2Melt remaining 1 tablespoon of butter in saute pan. Saute onions, shallots, and garlic until soft. Pour in wine, and deglaze the bottom of the pan. Turn heat up to medium-high, and allow wine to reduce for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn heat to low and whisk in cream, simmering until sauce becomes thick. Return chicken to sauce and heat another 5 minutes or until chicken is warmed through. Season with salt and pepper. ENJOY!
