Ingredients
- 8 - boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons shaoxing wine
- 1 - lemon juiced
- 1 cup sprite
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons water
- 4 - scallions thinly sliced
How To Make filipino chicken bbq skewers

Step 1Cut each of the thighs in half. Mix the remaining ingredients except cornstarch, water and scallions together and pour over the thighs. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.

Step 2Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.Place the chicken thighs on 8 skewers. Pour the marinade in a saucepan and bring to a boil reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes. Mix the cornstarch and water turn the heat back up and bring back to a boil and stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken.

Step 3Baste the chicken with the sauce. Bake the skewers for 15 minutes turning once and basting with the sauce. Serve the remaining sauce over the skewers and garnish with scallions.
