This is something i've eaten all my life. Exspecially this time of year, with an abondance of tomatoes.

1 can crushed tomatoes
1 small onion
2 tablespoons butter, cold
dash salt and pepper ( to your taste )

AFTER CHICKEN IS DONE .....

How To Make ffried chicken smuthered in tomato gravy

Step 1

Remove chicken from oil.

Step 2

Set aside on paper towel to absorb any extra oil.
Step 3

carefully pour HOT OIL out of skillet in HEAT PROOF CONTAINER
Step 4

ADD onions, saute' til transparent
Step 5

Add tomatoes, and chicken Salt and pepper
Step 6

Add Cold Butter, baste with gravy; covering every piece of meat.
Step 7

Let simmer for 15 min. So flavors will merry together. ENJOY !
