chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1.5 c
chicken broth
3 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
2 c
1/3 c
parmesan cheese, grated
"just a pinch" of garlic powder
"just a pinch" of salt
"just a pinch" of pepper
15 oz
1/2 c
basil, fresh chopped
1 lb
fettuccine, cooked according to package directions

How to Make Fettucine with Parmesan, Chicken & Peas


  • 1Place chicken in an ovenproof dish and add 1/2 cup chicken broth.
  • 2Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes on each side, or until chicken is slightly pink.
  • 3Reserve chicken broth and cut breasts across the grain into medium-size slices.
  • 4Let cool.
  • 5In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour and stir.
  • 6With a whisk, add milk, cream or half and half.
  • 7Stir in one cup of chicken broth and then add reserved broth from cooked chicken.
  • 8Add parmesan cheese, garlic powder, pepper, peas, basil and chicken.
  • 9Simmer until chicken is cooked through.
  • 10Pour sauce over fettucini.
  • 11Serve immediately.
