easy teriaki chicken

This recipe is best on the outdoor grill but during the winter months I use the stovetop grill with comparable results. The longer you marinate the better. I have done as little as 30 minutes but the recipe is at it's best with 4 hours or more.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Soy sauce, dark
- 1 1/2 cups Pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Red pepper flakes
- 1 medium White Onion (Sliced)
- 4 - Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons Cold water
How To Make easy teriaki chicken

Step 1Mix first 4 Ingredients in a large Ziploc bag. Reserve 3/4 cup of marinade in a small bowl.

Step 2Add onions to ziploc bag.

Step 3Place chicken breasts in ziploc bag to marinate for 4 hours in the fridge.

Step 4Preheat grill to medium heat.

Step 5Place chicken breasts on grill for 15 minutes on each side until chicken is cooked through.

Step 6Mix cornstarch and cold water to make a slurry.

Step 7On stovetop place reserved marinade in small saucepan,and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and add slurry. Stir until sauce thickens.

Step 8Brush each chicken breast with teriaki glaze.
