We love Indian food, and this grilled chicken is delish. It is quick and easy and requires minimal marinating time. You can refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight if you wish.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (can use bone-in as well)

How To Make easy tandoori-style grilled chicken thighs

  • Step 1
    Combine yogurt, garlic, ginger, and remaining spices - mix well.
  • Step 2
    Add the chicken to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Step 3
    When ready to grill, remove the chicken from the yogurt mixture and shake lightly to remove excess marinade.
  • Step 4
    Grill chicken for 15-20 minutes for boneless thighs, turning halfway through the grilling process. If using bone-in thighs - grill 20-25 minutes, making sure they are cooked through.
