Ingredients
- 10 ounces package of tyson's popcorn chicken
- 1 1/2 cups quick cooking long grain rice
- 8 ounces canned pineapple chunks
- 1 large green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
- 8 ounces can sliced water chestnuts, drained
How To Make easy sweet and sour chicken with rice

Step 1Bake chicken according to package directions.

Step 2Prepare quick rice according to package directions.

Step 3Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to reserved juice to make 1 1/2 cups liquid.

Step 4Pour pineapple juice mixture in medium saucepan. Add green pepper. Bring to a boiling, reduce heat.

Step 5Cover and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until pepper is crisp-tender.

Step 6Stir in vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce and bouillon granules.

Step 7Stir into mixture in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir for 2 minutes longer.

Step 8Gently stir in chicken, pineapple chunks, and water chestnuts. Heat through.

Step 9Serve chicken mixture over hot rice.
