How to Make Easy Roast Chicken
- Preheat oven to 350' (175'C). Rinse chicken inside and out with cool water and dry with paper towels.
- Place peeled onion inside chicken cavity and brush butter over chicken. Tie legs together and place in foil-lined broiler pan. Roast chicken for 20 minutes per pound. Baste often with additional butter.
- Chicken is done when juices run clear.
