I started making this when my kids were little (they called it pasta pleaser). It is a quick easy meal that my husband, kids and friends love.

Ingredients

  • 2
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 bag(s)
    small shell pasta
  • 2 can(s)
    chicken stock/broth
  • 2 pkg
    fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 2 can(s)
    6oz cans tomoto juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried basil
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese
  • ·
    olive oil

How to Make Easy Pasta Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
    Mince garlic.
  2. Add enough olive oil to cover bottom of large pan. Add in minced garlic and saute for 1 minute, add chicken and saute for 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
    Add oregano and basil and stir. Add chicken stock and tomato juice. Let simmer and put lid on pan.
  3. In large pot cook pasta as package directs and drain. Steam broccoli in pan or in microwave and drain.
    Add to chicken in pan. Add cheese and half and half. Simmer until hot. Serve with french bread.
