Easy Indian Chicken Curry

[Note: I have used potato in the curry which is optional]
Ingredients

6-8chicken pieces (big)

4 Tbspoil / butter

1 tspturmeric powder

·salt to taste

2green chilli
-
1/2 cwater, boiling

FOR THE MASALA (PASTE)

1onion, medium size
-
1 1/2 Tbspgarlic paste
-
1 tspginger paste
-
1 tspred chilli powder
-
1tomato
-
1 tspcardamon, ground
-
1/2 tspcinnamon, ground

1 tsppoppy seeds
-
1 Tbspcilantro, fresh
How to Make Easy Indian Chicken Curry
- Ground everything for MASALA to a smooth paste.
- Marinate Chicken in that masala for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil / Butter and add arinated chicken with the paste. Add salt, turmeric powder and cook till oil separates which is important indication that the masala is being cooked properly.
- Add green chilli [optional] and 1/2 cup of water and cook till it boils. Serve with white rice or bread.
