Easy Chicken Tikka Masala with Pasta

I prefer pasta to rice and this dish is delish.

1 lb
chicken thighs boneless skinless cut into small chunks
16 ml
can tomato puree
1/3 c
heavy cream
1 Tbsp
ginger minced
3 clove
garlic minced
2 Tbsp
garam masala spice
1/2 tsp
cumin and onion powder
1 tsp
curry powder
2 Tbsp
canola oil
4 c
chicken stock
8 oz
angel hair pasta
fresh basil or cilantro for garnish


1Place the chicken stock in a large stock pan and bring to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook until al dente . Drain reserving 1 cup stock.
2Heat oil in large skillet. Saute the ginger and garlic. Add the spice and cook to release the aroma. Add the chicken and stock to pan and saute until chicken is almost done.
3Add the tomato puree and simmer 5 minutes. Lower the heat and add the heavy cream. Simmer 2 more minutes. Serve sauce over pasta and garnish with basil or cilantro
