My kids loved potpie but I hated making the crust and dicing the veggies so, I came up with an easy way to make one of their favorite dishes without them ever knowing!

1 can(s)
veg-all of your choice
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 can(s)
cream of potato soup
4 large
chicken tenders, cut and cooked
deep dish pie shells, frozen

How to Make Easy Chicken Potpie

  • 1Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and cook over med heat until no longer pink. set aside...
  • 2mix veg-all, cream of chicken and cream of potato soup together. Stir in cooked chicken and pour into frozen deep dish pie shell. Filling will be heaped up in the middle
  • 3Turn the second pie shell over to remove it from the pan unbroken, on top of the filled pie. allow to sit until it is soft enough to shape to the top as you desire. press edges together to seal. Edge may be trimmed from the top crust but not necessary. Cut small slits or vent holes in a pattern and/or design and place the cuttings on other parts of the crust to decorate.
  • 4Bake at 350 degrees on middle rack of oven until crust is brown, or about 40 minutes, depending on your oven... IF YOU DO NOT LIKE A REALLY BROWN CRUST AROUND THE EDGES, USE FOIL TO COVER THE EDGES WHEN IT IS AS BROWN AS YOU WANT IT...
