Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    cream of potato soup
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme
  • 1 can(s)
    mixed veggies, drained
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 c
    chicken, cooked, boned & diced
  • 2 - 9 inch
    pie crust, thawed
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg, slightly beaten

How to Make Easy Chicken Pot Pie (Southern Style)

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine potato soup, drained mixed veggies, chicken, milk, thyme, and black pepper and spoon into 1 thawed pre-made pie crust.
  2. Top with 2nd thawed pre-made pie crust. Seal edges.
  3. Make 3 one inch slits (heat slits) in top of pie crust.
  4. Brush with beaten egg.
  5. Bake ay 375 for 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
