easy chicken pot pie
I was at the Dollar General Store one day looking to buy some soup, when I came across this recipe for Easy Chicken Pot Pie. This really makes a delicious pie. It calls for frozen vegetables, but I've used canned mixed vegetables and it works out just fine.

Ingredients
- 1 - can campbell's condensed cream of potato soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups thawed frozen mixed vegetables or a can of mixed vegetables , drained( 1 used a 15 ounce can)
- 2 - 4.5 oz. cans of chicken breast in water, drained
- 1 - egg, lightly beatened
- 1 cup all purpose baking mix (i prefer bisquick)
How To Make easy chicken pot pie

Step 1Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2Stir soup, 1/2 cup milk, black pepper, vegetables and chicken in 10" pie plate or 2-qt. baking dish. (I have used both types and each one works equally well.)

Step 3Stir remaining milk, egg and baking mix in small bowl.

Step 4Spread batter over chicken mixture.

Step 5Bake 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
