Ingredients For easy chicken 'n' dumplings
- CHICKEN:

1 - 1 1/2 lbchicken breasts, skinless & boneless, cut into bite sized pieces

3 stalkscelery, chopped
-
1 lgonion, chopped
-
2bay leaves
-
2chicken bouillon cubes
-
1 Tbspgarlic powder
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper
-
1 qtwater
-
1 cancream of chicken soup
- DUMPLINGS:
-
2 call purpose flour
-
1 tspseasoning salt
-
3/4 cice water
How To Make easy chicken 'n' dumplings

1DUMPLINGS: In a large bowl, combine flour & salt. Sprinkle a small amount of ice water in center of flour. Work mixture with fingers from center of bowl to sides of bowl, adding small amounts of water as you move to sides of bowl. Knead dough & form into a ball. On a floured board, roll dough to 1/8" thickness. (DOUGH WILL BE FIRM) Cut dumplings into 2" X 1" strips.

2CHICKEN: In a large dutch oven, combine chicken, celery, onion, bay leaves, bouillon cubes, garlic powder, salt, pepper & water. Bring to boil over medium high heat; reduce heat & simmer 10 - 12 minutes or until chicken is done.

3Stir in soup until blended & bring to boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat & simmer; drop dumplings, one at a time, into simmering mixture & cook 6 - 8 minutes or until dumplings are tender & float to the top. (DO NOT STIR MIXTURE WHILE DUMPLINGS COOK) Remove bay leaves.
