easy chicken and pasta bake

This is a recipe I created that is fast and nutritious, and bonus my kids love it. This is great for all the working mothers out there (like me), it can be made ahead of time and thrown in the oven after work. Serve with salad and garlic bread.

Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta, cooked
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed of all excess water
- 1 jar alfredo sauce
- 1 jar tomato and basil spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
How To Make easy chicken and pasta bake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2On your cook top over med-high heat, brown ground chicken with chopped onions in a large sauce pan until chicken is cooked and onions are soft and translucent.

Step 3Add garlic, spinach, and red pepper flakes and cook until spinach is just heated through.

Step 4Turn down cook top heat to med and add both jars of sauce to the meat mixture. Stir thoroughly and cook for about 5 mins.

Step 5Transfer your meat and sauce mixture into a large bowl and mix in the cooked Penne pasta.

Step 6Pour pasta mixture into 9X13in. pan and sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses over the pasta mixture.

Step 7Bake in your preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
