easy cheesy lasagne

I got this recipe years ago off the back of a lasagne box..delicious, and always gets compliments. The best part is that you don't have to precook the noodles..Yeah to that!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef of Italian sausaage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 package extra wide lasagne noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesean
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 3 cups mozzarella, shredded

How To Make easy cheesy lasagne

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375
  • Step 2
    In a skillet brown ground beef, onion and garlic; drain. Return beef mixture to skillet; stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
  • Step 3
    In 13x9" baking dish layer 1/3 sauce mix, half of parmesean cheese and parsley, half o mozzarella cheese; repeat layers ending with sauce mixture. Cover tightly with foil.
  • Step 4
    Bake 1 hour. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining parmesean cheese. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
  • Step 5
    FLORENTINE STYLE: Omit ground beef and parsley. Stir onion, garlic, one 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained, and 1/3 tsp nutmet to ricotta cheese mixture.
