This dish is absolutely fabulous. I have never been able to find a chili garlic sauce so I make my own. I mix in one minced garlic clove with 2 tsp. sweet chili sauce.

Ingredients For easy cashew chicken

1 1/2 lbchicken breast

1 clovegarlic, minced

6green onions

1 smonion
-
1/2 tspchili garlic sauce

3 Tbsphoisin sauce

1 cwhite rice, cooked
-
1 Tbspcornstarch
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
2 Tbsprice vinegar
-
1 1/2 Tbspvegetable oil

3/4 ccashews
-
3 Tbspchicken broth
How To Make easy cashew chicken

1Whisk together hoisin sauce, chili garlic sauce, and chicken broth in a small bowl. Set aside

2Transfer chicken to a medium bowl and season with salt and pepper

3Sprinkle cornstarch on top of chicken and toss to coat

4IN a large nonstick pan heat the oil over medium high heat. Saute the chicken, stirring often, until golden brown and cooked through, 8-10 minutes

5Add the onion and cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring often, until the onion is soft and translucent

6Add garlic and cook for another minute

7Add vinegar and stir. Cook for another minute

8Reduce heat to medium-low and add the hoisin mixture. Stir to combine and cook for another few minutes to warm through. Remove from heat

9Stir in cashews and green onions. Season with more salt and pepper if needed

10Serve over cooked white rice
