Ingredients For down-under chicken

  • 2
    boneless skinnless chicken breast
  • 1/4 c
    bacon bits
  • 1/2 c
    creamy honey-mustard sauce
  • 1 can
    sliced mushrooms
  • 4 oz
    shredded cheese (monterey jack works best)

How To Make down-under chicken

    Preheat oven to 400°F
  • 2
    Rinse Chicken
  • 3
    Rub chicken lightly with oil
  • 4
    On broiler pan, bake chicken for approximately 30 minutes (until juices run clear)

    When chicken is done, remove from oven and place on cookie sheet – leave oven turned on
  • 6
    Top chicken with bacon, mushrooms, then cheese and bake additional 3-5 minutes (until cheese is melted)

    Place Chicken on individual plates and top with sauce

    Serve and enjoy!
