Ingredients
- GREEN CHILE ENCHILADA CASSEROLE RECIPE FOLLOWS
- - 1 pkg. doritos (use in place of corn tortillas)
- - 1 cup sliced olives
- - prepare casserole as directed but substitute doritos for corn tortillas and sprinkle olives between layers. microwave 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is thoroughly melted. makes 3 to 4 servings.
- GREEN CHILE ENCHILADA CASSEROLE:
- - 1 1/2 lbs. of ground meat (beef, venison, elk, or combination ) or shredded chicken
- - 1/2 cup chopped onion
- - 2 cloves garlic minced
- - 1 pkg. corn tortillas, 12 count
- - 2 cans cream of mushroom soup or chicken broth
- - 1 cup chopped green chile
- - 1 small can chopped ripe olives
- - 1 lb. grated longhorn cheese
How To Make dorito casserole

Step 1Brown meat. Drain fat. Add onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes; set aside.

Step 2Fry tortillas in oil; drain on paper towels; set aside.

Step 3Mix soup and chile to make sauce; Add olives.

Step 4Layer meat, 1/3 of cheese, tortillas, another 1/3 of cheese, sauce and remaining cheese in baking dish. Cover casserole with foil.

Step 5Bake at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes.
