soft bread crumbs are made by taking fresh bread whether it is sliced sandwich or french bread and pulsing it in your food processor and using it just like that without toasting them.
Ingredients

2 (10 oz) pkgfrozen broccoli, chopped

6 ccooked shredded chicken

2 can(s)condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cmayonnaise

1 csour cream

1 cgrated sharp cheddar cheese

1 Tbspfresh lemon juice

1 tspcurry powder

·salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cdry white wine or chicken broth

1/2 cfreshly grated parmesan cheese

1/2 csoft bread crumbs

2 Tbspbutter, melted
How to Make Divine Chicken Divan
- Remove the outer wrappers from the boxes of broccoli. Open one end of each box. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes, until thawed. Drain the broccoli and put into a casserole dish. Add the shredded chicken.
- In a medium bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper and wine (or broth). Whisk together to make a sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the broccoli and chicken. Mix well with a spatula. Place the mixture into an 11x7 inch casserole dish or two 9-inch square pans sprayed with cooking spray.
- Pat down evenly and smooth with a spatula. Combine the parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and butter and sprinkle over the top. Bake for 30-45 minutes. You can also try topping with cheddar or gruyere cheese on top of the breadcrumb mixture. I usually use gruyere.
