How To Make dirty border bowl
-
Step 1Place the frozen chicken, beans, water, green chilis & chicken bouillon in the crock pot. (Stir just to get the bouillon mixed in). Place lid on & cook on low for 8hrs. (May adjust time to your specific needs)
-
Step 2when done. Take 2 forks and shred chicken breasts and stir. Then dump in the dirty rice mixture (usually comes with the packet of seasonings that are separate - dump it in as well) Stir & Let this cook for about 25-30 more minutes with the lid on. When done give it a stir & serve in a bowl with your favorite toppings.
-
Step 3Note* - you could also add a can of drained sweet corn if you would like to the beginning step. Some chopped green parsely, added at the end, would give it a very pretty color as well.
