Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 4 ounces sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon pimento, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make deluxe chicken supper

  • Step 1
    Fry bacon in skillet until crisp.
  • Step 2
    Remove and drain on paper towels. Crumble.
  • Step 3
    Saute onion, celery, green pepper and mushrooms in bacon dripping until tender.
  • Step 4
    Do not brown.
  • Step 5
    Combine soup and sour cream in a bowl.
  • Step 6
    Add chicken, salt, worcestershire sauce, pepper, 1 tablespoon milk, bacon and sauteed vegetables; mix well.
  • Step 7
    Turn into a 2 quart greased casserole.
  • Step 8
    Combine biscuit mix, eggs, 1/2 cup milk, pimentos and cheese; mix until just blended.
  • Step 9
    Drop by spoonfuls on top of chicken mixture.
  • Step 10
    Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 45 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
