"currying favor" chicken salad
This is my FAVORITE summertime lunch. It's fast, yummy and very cooling on a hot summer day. GREAT for "tea" parties, ladies' luncheons or showers.

Ingredients
- 3 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
- 4 - ribs of celery
- 1 1/2 cups red, seedless grapes
- 1 cup pecan pieces
- 1 cup sour cream, lite if you want
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 to 3 tablespoons curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - fresh-ground pepper
- 1 - bag mixed field green salad
- 4 - croissants
How To Make "currying favor" chicken salad

Step 1Boil chicken, cut into cubes.

Step 2Slice celery into 1/2-inch slices.

Step 3Wash, drain, and separate grapes. Cut grapes in half if you want, but I leave them whole.

Step 4In small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, curry, salt, pepper.

Step 5Put cooked chicken in large bowl. Add celery, pecans and sour cream mixture. Toss gently to coat. Add grapes last and stir gently again.

Step 6Serve over bed of mixed field greens with a croissant on the side.
