chicken, cooked and cubed
1 c
long grain rice, uncooked
1 c
1/4 c
green onions, sliced
2 tsp
curry powder
1/8 tsp
garlic powder
1/8 tsp
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
2 oz
pimiento, diced
hard cooked egg, sliced
1/3 c
sliced almonds, toasted ; optional
1/4 c
raisins ; optional

How to Make Curry Chicken and Rice Casserole


  • 1Heat the oven to 350°.
  • 2Mix all of the ingredients, except the egg, almonds and raisins, together in an ungreased 2-quart casserole.
  • 3Bake, uncovered, for 45 to 55 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
  • 4Serve topped with the egg, almonds and raisins.
