This is a great dish to cook for a family occasion. Just enough spice and heat. My family loves this dish. I took it to a friend's home for a pot luck and it was gone in a few minutes. I guess that next time I'll make a double batch!

    orange juice
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1 can(s)
    chopped green chilies( 4ozs.)
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • 4
    bone in skin on chicken breast halves
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Cuban Citrus Chicken


  1. Combine orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, green chilies, garlic, oregano, cumin, red pepper and salt to taste in a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Add chicken; seal bag. Refrigerate for 2-8 hours, turning occasionally.
  3. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium direct heat (300-350 degrees)
  4. Remove chicken from marinade. Place chicken bone side up on grill rack. Grill for 25 - 35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink turning once.
