This is a great dish to cook for a family occasion. Just enough spice and heat. My family loves this dish. I took it to a friend's home for a pot luck and it was gone in a few minutes. I guess that next time I'll make a double batch!

orange juice
1/4 c
lemon juice
1/4 c
olive oil
1 can(s)
chopped green chilies( 4ozs.)
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
ground cumin
1/4 tsp
ground red pepper
bone in skin on chicken breast halves
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Cuban Citrus Chicken


  • 1Combine orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, green chilies, garlic, oregano, cumin, red pepper and salt to taste in a resealable plastic bag.
  • 2Add chicken; seal bag. Refrigerate for 2-8 hours, turning occasionally.
  • 3Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium direct heat (300-350 degrees)
  • 4Remove chicken from marinade. Place chicken bone side up on grill rack. Grill for 25 - 35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink turning once.
