is end of month so i have to cook with what i have started this and by the time i was done thought wow i wish i had pie crust to make pot pie instead i served it over mashed potatoes would be good with pasta too

this is my fav way to cook have a few things see what i can come up with most times hubby loves it lol

4-6 medium
chicken tenderloin strips,cut in bout 1/2 in pieces
6 oz
bacon,cut into 1/2 in pieces fried extra crisp
1 medium
onion,chopped small
1 1/2 c
1/4 c
1/2 c
light sour cream

How to Make crustless chicken pot pie


  • 1have bacon fried extra crisp remove most from pan to paper towl lined plate [leave a few pieces bacon in grease] add onions cook til browned well...[15-20 min]now add cut up chicken cook til no longer pink turn pan off add 1 c milk
  • 2mix 1/2 c milk with flour add to chicken mix turn pan back on cook til it comes to a boil boil bout 2-3 min til good and thick turn to as low as u can cook bout 20 min stirring often jus before servin add the sour cream and rest of bacon stir well....
  • 3if u like black pepper like my hubby does i added fresh ground pepper to bacon and when onion was added and as garnish before servin
