Crockpot Rosemary Thyme Chicken
Consider adding red potatoes around the chicken while cooking. Delicious!
Make homemade gravy out of the drippings!
4-5 lbwhole chicken (giblets removed)
1 smallonion (quartered)
2 Tbspolive oil (extra virgin)
1 1/2 tsprosemary
1 1/2 tspthyme (ground)
1/2 tsponion powder
·salt and pepper
How to Make Crockpot Rosemary Thyme Chicken
- Wash chicken and stuff onion in cavity. Give chicken a massage with olive oil.
- Combine rosemary and thyme and rub underneath breast skin. Sprinkle onion powder over chicken along with a little extra rosemary and thyme. Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste.
- Cook in crockpot on low until chicken reaches internal temperature of 180 degrees, or until done. Crockpots vary somewhat, I would guess at least 6 hours. Check for doneness.
